Plethora of Stuff

Oh my have I been SO busy!! It just doesn't stop! I'm very much looking forward to this holiday weekend for some much needed rest!


Here is a recap on my sweet weekend last week. It was non-stop but SO awesome!

Friday: Dad's birthday, so we all went out to dinner and hung out with the family. Yeah, that's my mom showing her food... non serious pics run in the family!





Saturday: A lovely Princess Tea Party hosted by Ms Princess herself. It was FABULOUS! I took my little girl and her BFF, Emily. Those two LOVED it and had such a wonderful time (as did I)!





And we had to get some pics with the Princess, of course!



Then on Sunday I took the best class ever! I have never learned so many new techniques and cool tricks before! This was the GREATEST class... there are endless possibilities to this awesome hobby and Liz Hicks has shown me SO many awesome techniques, ideas, and tons of other stuff! I loved it! She was so RAD and so FUN! Here is her sample of the mini we made. It ROCKED!

And in other great news, the new prompt is up at The Pink Ninja Blog!!! We need some players, so please play along! We have an amazingly talented team that is FULL of inspiration for ya! Get your supplies out and whip up a LO of your Guilty Pleasures!!! Mine are, embarrassingly, Junior Mints. Lame, huh? Who eats those, grandpas? I love em and can't get enough!!! Here is my take on the prompt. Kept is kinda simple, used some fabric and did some machine stitching.

Well, that was a plethora of stuff, huh!? I will be done with work in approximately 7 hours, and then off to crack my first beer of the weekend (ahhhh... I can almost taste it)! I hope you have a super fabulous and SAFE SAFE SAFE weekend!

What What!?

Hiya! What's the happening on this FAB Thursday?! (one more day, one more day)!

Didn't get a chance to post over the weekend like I wanted to. We have family in town from Oregon, so things have been busy!! I mean Crazy busy!! I normally hit the hay at 9pm, 10pm tops, but have been so busy that I've been up til 12am that past two days!! SO sleep deprived!

Anyhow, here is what I've been up to:

Some sewing for our new niece Siena... I made some bibs for her and a quilt. I HATE this quilt so much! Do you ever start something and think that it sucks so bad, but you'll be mega mad at yourself for spending the money on all the stuff (fabric, batting, thread, etc) that you just force yourself to finish it? Well, I do! And here is the disaster that became of it. Not lookin' for pity here, so don't go fooling me with sweet comments, this thing is UGLY!

but the bibs are cute, huh? I love the bell pepper and onion one! Babies- their so adorable!



And then... Ive been whipping up so goodies with the July kit from Vintage Plum!! This kit is too darn awesome! The colors are fab and the paper is so yummy!! Here are a few sneaky peeks for ya... full reveal on 7/1/09!

I see that I have some make up on and look like I just woke up, so maybe I was whooping it up the night before? Who knows, but it makes a fun LO!

Yo Yo Yo! What's happening blogland? I've been pretty busy on my end. TONS of work to do, lots of family outings, and mega scrapping too!

First, you HAVE to see these two movies!!! I saw then over the weekend and they ROCK!!

"Hangover" is HILARIOUS!!! And "Up" straight up made me cry like 3 times!! It was so good, and in 3D too!

Like 10 minutes ago, I totally REAMED my finger SO BAD with the crop-o-dile and it is so swollen that I cannot even type! What a nerd I am... I'm gonna just leave ya with some photos of some crafty projects I did over the past week. Hope ya like!
